Welcome Back!
Social Studies 8 - During the Holiday week we spent a lot of time on US Child Labor. We viewed several child labor photos from Lewis Hine. Students chose a photo to focus on after several collaborative activities. Tonight, students need to write about their photo as if they were experiencing "a day in the life" of their child laborer. We spent time in class today reacquainting the students with the topic and specifically their photos.
APUSH - Today we discussed the Reconstruction Era. Check syllabus for homework.
