APUSH - Today we discussed "machine politics" during the Gilded Age.  Students then finished their Gilded Age presidents in class.  We will review that lesson in class tomorrow.

HW - Read Chapter 23 “Political Paralysis in the Gilded Age,” pages 521-528

SS 8 - Today we discussed Old and New Immigrants in America.  We discussed push and pull factors of immigration and watched two short immigration clips from NBC Archives.

HW - Read Ch. 21, Section I "New Immigrants in Promise Land," page 600.  Possible quiz on reading Friday.
