Today we tested on the1920's, the Great Depression and FDR's New Deal.

Monday we block with ELA to start our WWII project.

Today we set up the 2nd half of the essay.

The FINAL ESSAY is due Thursday.

We discussed details of the New Deal today in class.

1. Print out your SS grade and assignments (write a note to me on your current performance)
2. Study for Friday Test

Today, we graded the documents for the DBQ on the Great Depression.

Write 3 paragraphs of the DBQ:

Paragraph #1 - Introduction.  Introduce the GD.  Introduce the time period.  Conclude paragraph with restating task as THESIS statement (what your essay will prove).  The paragraph should be approximately FIVE sentences.

Paragraph #2 - Body paragraph #1.  Problems of the Great Depression faced by Americans.

1st sentence - During the Great Depression Americans faced many economic issues. (this paragraph should be 8+ sentences)

Paragraph #3 - Body paragraph #2.  Problems of the Great Depression faced by Americans.

1st sentence - During the Great Depression there was a lot of stress on many Americans.  (this paragraph should be 8+ sentences)
