Social Studies 8 - Unfortunately our fieldtrip was cancelled today. It has been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 17th.
In class we started the the selection process of what photo we may like to use for our presentations. We went through the text to page 559 writing down topics of interest. We discussed John Brown and discussed the terms - hero and terrorist.
Tonight's homework is to continue to peruse the text and note any topics of interest from pages 559- 582. Tomorrow we will finish with possible topics and students will need to choos a topic over the weekend.
APUSH - Today we reviewed different aspects of the DBQ and particularly spent time with the 2010 DBQ.
Students should be working through the Hippocampus assignments for this unit.

Friday - DBQ conclusion / Unit I discussion
Monday - Key Term Quiz / Presentations start
Tuesday - Finish presentations / review for test
Wednesday - Test Unit I - Hippocampus due
